Indigenous Business Australia (IBA) is a government agency tasked with promoting and encouraging self management, self sufficiency and and economic independence for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The client’s existing website had grown organically over time, accumulating over 400 pages of dense content with little structure. The result? A confusing user experience that made it difficult for visitors to find what they needed.

We partnered with their team to strategically refine and restructure their content, identifying what was essential and reorganizing it into a streamlined, audience-focused information architecture. This made the site easier to navigate and more effective in delivering key messaging.

Working closely with their internal design team, we developed a modern, mobile-first design—ensuring an optimal experience for their audience, who primarily access the site on mobile devices.

Beyond design, this project involved extensive data transfer, consolidation, and seamless integration with third-party systems to ensure a smooth transition.
