Robert Kirby
Robert Kirby is an internationally acclaimed psychotherapist, kinesiologist and educator. He was looking to rebrand himself as the business after moving on from a former partnership. The challenge was to turn an individual into a brand that could be marketed and eventually grown as a business beyond the individual.
Flow spent time with the client to understand his business, himself and his core values and propositions. We then translated this information into a set of goals and value propositions for the business and used these as the basis for developing the brand.
The Brand
The brand was developed to represent the transformation nature of Roberts’ work. As his name was the brand this was used and overlayed onto a wave concept showing how the work can move through and transform the clients he works with
The core colour palette was developed to use calm, positive colours including, blues, greens and vibrant colours such as orange.
Once the logo and style guide had been developed work started on the web design project. The website needed to help Robert effectively manage his business moving forward including his customer database, events and email marketing. We recommended the excellent Business Catalyst online business system and started work on designing the new website.
The Website (version 2)
This new version of the website was designed to allow a site visitor to quickly learn and understand what the business was about and what was on offer. The site uses a modular approach on the home page to present the core value propositions and messaging.
Modules at the bottom of the page were incorporated to display regularly changing content to keep the site fresh and to maximise search engine optimisation.
Strong calls to action for the core business goals are incorporated into the site to maximise click throughs and conversions.
The site has been very effective in helping Robert and his team to run the business using the integrated solution from Business Catalyst which offers content management, customer relationship management, ecommerce, email marketing, blogs and forums all in one integrated online solution. Flow is a premium partner with Business Catalyst with many sites implemented.
