Excel Billing, Invoicing & Reporting System

As part of a consultation for a local firm of Solicitors it became apparent that they were spending up to 3 days per month collating timesheets and producing invoices and reporting information.

Flow recommended an automated approach which utilised the Excel based timesheet information to autoatically collate, consolidate and invoice for time spent to clients.

A workshop was held to understand the billing structure and business processes which were then documented into a process flow for client approval.

This process was then developed into a core set of Excel templates which allowed for the following:

• Import and collation of all staff timesheets into monthly overview split by client
• Ability to generate simple or detailed invoice for each client
• Ability to import monthly invoice data into consolidation report

All of this functionality was fully automated allowing for this information to be generated at the click of a button saving the client on average 2-3 days per month in administration time.
